We just ordered some NEW PVC patches and they are AWESOME.  They're ~2"x3" and they're designed to go on the sleeve of your Combat Shirt or other Velcro area like the front of your vest. They come with a loop backer, so you could sew it on any area you want.

Symbolism:

The stripes and pattern of the background indicate a sergeant's rank. The stripes were used in the War of Aggression by both the Yankee's and the Confederate Army's sergeants.  This rank actually commanded a group of soldiers numbering 20-30 and is more similar to that of today's 1st Lt. or Captain.

The Shield represents defense. 

The 3 Stars represent the 3%'r mentality.  Only 3% of colonists participated in combat against the British.

The Swords represent the power to strike one's enemy.

The Cross represents Christ's atonement for our sins and provide for our resurrection. 

The Chi Rho symbol on the skull's head is a Christogram and is formed by superimposing the first two capital leters chi and rho (XP) of the Greek word "ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ" = Christ.  It represents Christ.

The skull represents that we will fight to the death to secure our rights and liberty. Plus, it just looks cool!
