Hi everyone, I rated this type of folding saw 5 stars for the following: Pros: 1. lightweight, durable, very easy to use. 2. EXTREMELY sharp, holds edge very well. 3. have used this saw for several months on small brush, small limbs (less than 2 inch dia.) with very little effort. 4. the design of the handle and curvature of the blade allows for brush-work and camping to be very easy. 5. Locking mechanism is sturdy and holds the stress put on the blade. Cons: not made in USA (JAPAN); BUT at least it is not China junk! Overall worth the money if you are looking for a portable hand saw to put in one of your bug-out bags or just for camping excursions!

I appreciate the steel handle, the locking mechanism, and especially the ability to change the position of the blade for easier cuts on smaller woods. Just got it. I will try this on some osage orange, locust and some hardwood scrub. The blade is the best I've seen.
